BO YOUNG PARK ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FindCurrency application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to explaining clearly how information is handled when you use the App.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

We do not operate our own server or database for collecting or storing users' personal information.

The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use its currency and cryptocurrency information features.

The App may process certain information locally on your device in order to provide its features.

Exchange Rate Data

The App retrieves publicly available exchange-rate data from a third-party exchange-rate service.

The retrieved exchange-rate data is processed within the App and stored locally on your device to provide currency conversion and related features.

The App periodically updates exchange-rate data, generally approximately every 30 minutes to one hour, depending on network availability and other technical conditions.

If the App cannot retrieve current exchange-rate data because the network connection is unavailable or unstable, the App may display previously retrieved exchange-rate data stored locally on your device.

When previously retrieved data is displayed, the App may notify you that the displayed information may not represent the latest available exchange rates.

Currency Conversion

The App allows you to enter an amount in one currency and view the corresponding converted amount in another currency.

Currency conversion calculations are performed within the App using the exchange-rate data available on the device.

The App does not require you to provide personal information in order to perform currency conversions.

Cryptocurrency Market Data

The App provides a separate cryptocurrency information feature that displays publicly available cryptocurrency market-price information.

The App retrieves cryptocurrency market-price data from Bithumb's public API and displays the information within the App.

The App does not provide cryptocurrency trading, purchasing, selling, transfers, cryptocurrency wallets, account management, or investment services.

The cryptocurrency information is provided for informational purposes only and may not represent the latest market price at all times.

2. Network and Local Data Storage

FindCurrency requires an internet connection to retrieve current exchange-rate and cryptocurrency market data.

Retrieved data may be temporarily stored locally on your device so that the App can provide its features and display previously retrieved information when a current data request cannot be completed.

We do not operate a cloud server or database for storing this information.

The locally stored data remains on your device and is subject to your device's storage and operating system behavior.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display native advertisements.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process certain information, which can include IP address, device or advertising identifiers, advertising data, diagnostic information, performance information, and information about interactions with the App.

The information processed by Google may be used for purposes such as delivering advertisements, measuring advertising performance, preventing fraud, and improving advertising services.

The exact information processed may depend on the version of the Google Mobile Ads SDK, your device settings, your privacy choices, the type of advertisement served, and applicable laws.

4. Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy and advertising consent messages when required.

Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may be asked to make choices regarding the use of information for advertising purposes, including personalized advertising.

You may also be provided with options to change your advertising privacy choices after your initial selection.

For users in regions where consent is required, advertisements are served according to the user's consent choices and applicable legal requirements.

The App may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

If you grant permission, certain information may be used for tracking purposes, including the use of an advertising identifier, in accordance with Apple's requirements and your choices.

If you deny permission, the App will not access the advertising identifier for tracking purposes through the ATT framework.

You can change your tracking permission at any time through your device's privacy settings.

FindCurrency does not require or intentionally collect the following types of information for its core features:

Name or contact information
User account information
Precise location information
Photos or videos
Audio recordings
Contacts
Health or fitness information
Payment or financial account information

The App does not provide an account registration or login system.

The App does not provide in-app purchases or subscription services.

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell users' personal information.

We do not operate our own server or database for collecting users' personal information.

However, the App uses third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads and third-party data services used to provide exchange-rate and cryptocurrency market information.

These third-party service providers may process information as necessary to provide their respective services, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

The App does not intentionally send users' personal information to the exchange-rate data service as part of ordinary exchange-rate data requests.

We do not independently control how third-party service providers process information.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not maintain a server-side account or database containing users' currency conversion data, exchange-rate data, or cryptocurrency information.

Exchange-rate and cryptocurrency data retrieved by the App may be stored locally on your device for use within the App.

The retention of locally stored data depends on your device, the App's operation, and your actions.

You may remove locally stored App data by deleting the App from your device, subject to Apple's operating system behavior.

Information processed by third-party services, such as advertising-related information, is subject to the retention policies of those providers.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to collect personal information from children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers or databases.

Where required by applicable law, advertising and consent settings may be configured to provide appropriate treatment for users who are not of the applicable age of consent.

Because FindCurrency does not operate its own server or database for storing users' currency conversion information or market data, much of the information used by the App remains locally on the user's device.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security of your device, including using a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other security features provided by your device.

Exchange rates and cryptocurrency prices may change rapidly and may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, or different from prices provided by other services.

You should not rely solely on information displayed by the App when making financial, investment, trading, or other financial decisions.
